I started ten years ago with a basic Olympus. My wife and I bought our first DSLR in 2005 (350D) and have been growing and learning photography ever since.

Current equipment:

• Canon 500D
• Canon 18-55mm kit
• Canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
• Tamron 75-300mm f/4-5.6 Telephoto
• Canon 50mm f/1.4 Canon
• Speedlite 420EX

Wish list:

• 24mm f/1.4 L USM II  – I’d totally love to start astrophotography and related night shots with this
• 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM – had a lot of fun when I rented one of these
• 300mm f/2.8L IS USM – I’d probably have to win the lottery, twice, but I can’t get enough bird shots
• a macro, something like the 60mm f/2.8
